We have reserved 60 tickets for you all to enjoy the most anticipated food & entertainment festival of the year being held at the Waterside District on Saturday, July 8th, 2023!

The cost of General Admission is $5 for both current apprentices and alumni.

Entry is allowed from 2 PM – 8 PM- 1st Drink Included

VIP Tickets are on sale for $25 for both current apprentices & alumni 12PM – 8PM- 2 Hour express VIP early access (12PM)- 4 Drink Vouchers- Exclusive Indoor VIP Area- 5 Taco vouchers- Complimentary Nacho Bar (12PM-2PM)- Commemorate VIP gift bag with a custom shot glass, giveaways & bragging rights

WHAT TO EXPECT

At the event, you’ll find over 25 of Virginia’s best restaurants, food trucks & carts serving up an amazing variety of mouth-watering tacos & related food items for $4 each! Get ready for an action-packed weekend filled with a large variety of tacos, margaritas, games, and taco-themed fun all while being entertained by live bands, authentic Mariachi music & entertainment, awesome activities, and more!

TICKET VOUCHER SYSTEM & BEVERAGES

All food-related items will work on a voucher system with stations located throughout the festival grounds. Purchase your taco vouchers ($4 a voucher sold in sheets of 5 for $20) at any of the stations and then simply exchange them for Tacos, Elotes, Nachos, and all food-related items! All vendors will offer at least two items on their menu for one voucher ($4) with a very select few offering some high-end fancy pants tacos (Crab, Lobster, etc.) and burritos for two vouchers ($8). All alcohol & beverages will work on a cash & credit system. There will be ATMs on-site but highly encourage cash sales to expedite the overall process.

KIDS FUN ZONE

Fun for the whole family! There will be face painters, bounce houses, piñata smashing contests, carnival games & more. Kids 10 and under are FREE!

Each apprentice is limited to a max of TWO TICKETS. If you purchase more than two tickets, the additional tickets will be canceled and you will be refunded a CREDIT for use on future ASSA Events.

This Eventbrite will not allow you access to the event. Please be sure to check your email to receive your official voucher for entry.

The ASSA is not affiliated with "A Taste of Your Town" nor the "Norfolk Taco Festival", therefore we are not liable for your actions or anything that takes place during your time at this event -- Please be sure to govern yourselves respectfully as you are representing the ASSA.

All tickets purchased are final.

Per "A Taste of Your Town" -- We DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES & this is a Rain or Shine indoor/outdoor event. In the event of a postponement of this event for reasons that include, but may not limit to; venue situations outside of our control, governmental acts, acts of God, hazardous or other dangerous weather/environmental conditions, strikes, local emergencies, etc. tickets will be transferred to the new date provided.

If this is the case an ASSA representative will contact you with the necessary arrangements.
